Welcome to Proton Pals Foundation

Empowering Cancer Patients with Compassion, Care, and Community

At Proton Pals Foundation, we believe no one should face the cancer journey alone. As a nonprofit organization founded by former patients, we are dedicated to supporting individuals and families navigating their cancer journey with heart, hope, and help. Because we've been there...

OUR MISSION: BRINGING HOPE, RELIEF, AND CONNECTION

At Proton Pals Foundation, our mission is simple: to provide support to cancer patients undergoing proton therapy in Oklahoma, ensuring they never feel alone in their fight. Founded by former patients, we understand firsthand the challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. From financial burdens to emotional struggles, the journey can feel overwhelming—but that’s where Proton Pals steps in.

We are committed to easing the financial strain that many patients face when seeking life-saving proton therapy. Whether it’s helping with gas cards, covering hotel stays for those traveling far from home, or assisting with other essential expenses, we strive to remove barriers to care so patients can focus on healing. Every little bit of relief can make a world of difference during such a critical time.

Together, We Can Make a Difference

Former Patient

Living over two hours away from the center where I was treated, the cost of gas for daily trips quickly added up. That’s when Proton Pals Foundation stepped in. They provided me with gas cards so I never had to worry about missing treatment. That eased my stress and allowed me to focus on healing. Their kindness and support meant the world to me and my family.

Former Patient

Cancer treatment can be physically and emotionally exhausting, and the last thing I had the energy to worry about was what I’d eat after a long day of treatment. Proton Pals Foundation provided me a meal card to a local restaurant on my first day of treatment. It may seem like a small gesture, but to me, it was everything. Their support reminded me that I wasn’t in this alone, and that made all the difference during such a tough time.

Former Patient

My first day of treatment was overwhelming. I was filled with fear and uncertainty, not knowing what to expect. That’s when someone from Proton Pals Foundation approached me in the lobby. They sat with me, listened to my worries, and shared their own experience with proton therapy. Their kindness and reassurance instantly put me at ease. I felt supported and understood in a way I hadn’t before. That first day could have been terrifying, but because of Proton Pals, it became a moment of hope and connection I’ll never forget.
